Good News on School Construction Costs

Taxpayer impacts are creeping DOWN for construction of our new high school — and state aid figures are creeping UP! This is great news for our taxpayers, and for our YES Monument vote on Nov. 4, 2025.

The latest cost revisions:

  • ~$61M+ in state school construction assistance (up from $59M)

  • ~$89M in local taxpayer impact (down from ~$93M)

  • $1.585M in MassSave energy funding

  • Total cost: $152M

Further state grant funding could lower taxpayers costs event more — and we will know more in a few weeks.
