WHY VOTE YES on 11/4/2025?
For $89 million in tax dollars, we can:
Build a new, state-of-the-art Monument Mountain Regional High, to open in 2029 to replace our 1968 school.
Or, spend the same $89M for repairs, which will take years to complete, displacing students and staff in the process. Fixes will bring no educational program benefits, and no expansion of much-needed Voc-Tech-Career programs.
Let’s make the smart choice:

We are Berkshire Hills neighbors, parents,teachers, students, alumni and business owners advocating for a NEW AND IMPROVED MONUMENT MOUNTAIN HIGH.
With our support, the Berkshire Hills Regional School District can finally ‘level up’ our high school, on par with our new elementary (2004) and middle school (2005). We’ve now paid for those schools in full.
A new Monument will:
Replace our aged 1968 facility with 21st secondary learning and teaching facilities and opportunities.
Expand vocational education to strengthen our local workforce.
Modernize science and technology learning spaces.
Enhance school safety, (fire suppresson, secure entries)boost energy efficiency, and more.
Offer expanded public community programming, including adult learning and more.
Most importantly, your YES vote will secure more than $61 million in state aid package to offset overall project costs.
This state money will be LOST if we don’t VOTE YES. It will be years before we are permitted to reapply – and we will be saddled with urgent costly repairs to our old school, for which there is no state aid, and far higher future costs.
Let’s protect ourselves and our neighbors from untenable tax impacts that would arise with a NO vote. Let’s say YES MONUMENT on Nov. 4, 2025!
